Legal office Monterey is seeking an in office administrative assistant/personal assistant for the managing attorney for a full-time position. This position requires that you support the attorneys/legal assistants with a variety of legal office services. This is a busy position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills.

We are the top producing family law firm in Monterey, having the largest number of divorce cases. Our practice is focused solely on family law matters, including dissolution, separation, parentage, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence restraining orders. We are looking to expand our amazing team with the addition of an experienced Office Administrator.

Our attorneys have both administrative and paralegal support so that they can focus on lawyering. We are also a tech-forward company. We believe in utilizing technology to improve the service we provide to our clients. We run a paperless office and are continually striving to improve our systems. For this reason, being tech-savvy is a must.

Responsibilities:

Intensive word processing, formatting, proof-reading, and organizing documents.

Electronic renaming and filing of all incoming mail.

Assist litigation team with any and all administrative including overseeing office cleanliness, maintaining office supplies, running errands, etc.

Billing tasks including timekeeping, expense reporting, purchasing, etc.

Oversee general office needs, working with multiple office members and calendaring.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in a law office required. Experience with executive assisting is a plus.

Spanish speaking preferred.

Advanced knowledge of word processing, document formatting, and information management including Word, Excel, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.

Prior experience with systems such as RingCentral, Zoho, Lawyaw, Sayler is a plus but not necessary.

Attention to detail is a must.
