Job Title: Administrative Specialist
Location: Monterey, CA
Pay: $37/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6 hours/day (30 hours/week)
About the job:
As an Administrative Specialist, you'll support accounts payable processes, vendor communication, and IT asset management, ensuring smooth operations in financial and logistical tasks.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years of experience with accounts payable processes and workflows
- Possesses a strong understanding of financial and accounting practices; knowledge of OSHPD System of Accounts is a plus
- Excels in communication and collaboration with external vendors and partners
- Has logistics and supply chain knowledge; IT Asset Management experience is preferred
- Is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and can learn new software applications
What you'll do:
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, tracking, and purchase order requests
- Communicate effectively with external partners and vendors to facilitate accounts payable and procurement tasks
- Support IT asset management by handling logistics and supply chain operations
- Utilize ServiceNow, OnBase, and other software applications for processing and tracking tasks
- Prepare and manage documents in Microsoft Word and Excel as needed
