Del Rey Oaks Gardens is offering a dynamic, full-time employment opportunity to the right candidate. We are a local, family-owned business seeking applicants who are motivated, energetic team players with a positive attitude, with the ability to provide outstanding service to our clientele and work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will also have a strong motivation for creative, challenging work.
Horticultural experience is a PLUS, but is not required to apply for this position.
Responsibilities are varied and include sales activities, cultivating plant material onsite, undertaking a variety of projects, and marketing, to name a few.
Requirements:
- Weekend availability
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Proven record of customer service experience and must LOVE working with people
- Must be a team player
- Reliable transportation and driver's license, clean record
- Confident with Microsoft programs, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
There are opportunities to move laterally to different departments within the company (landscape, wholesale nursery operations, etc.) in addition to the potential to move up to management.
