Maintains store presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, offers sales presentation and a professional manner with customers. Completes administration duties as well as accurate point of sales register keeping. Able to learn or have knowledge of simple electronics. Reports to the Owner
Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and emails and respond to inquiries from customers. Research quotes for customers.
Troubleshoot minor issues and repairs for customers.
Explain and demonstrate for customers various products for installation.
Data entry of invoices of sales and received inventory items. Check incoming inventory items for accuracy.
Enter sales in the Point of Sales system with check numbers or use Credit Card terminal.
Stock shelves for presentation. Maintain a pleasing layout of store products, keep pricelists updated.
Follow up with customers and vendors for payments and mail vendor checks.
Additional Tasks
Assist installers by gathering parts needed for jobs.
Perform annual inventory.
Occasionally cut cables and solder connectors.
Work with the website and social media apps
Various other tasks needed by management.
Requirements
Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
Basic math skills. Maintain loss prevention.
Knowledge of Inventory and Stocking procedures.
Basic knowledge in computers, software and POS systems.
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Details with cash and credit card handling sales.
Able to work a schedule of 40 hours weekly including a half day on Saturdays.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Standing, walking up to 4 -8 hours per shift
Will train the right candidate.
