Big Sur Construction LLC seeks a dedicated, experienced Mid-Level Construction Foreman to join our team. We are a growing company focused on constructing and maintaining a residential property in the beautiful Big Sur area. The ideal candidate will be bilingual, have a strong background in construction, and possess proven leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to project timelines.
Communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking team members.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Interpret and execute detailed construction plans and specifications.
Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring labor and resources are utilized effectively.
Provide training and guidance to crew members as needed.
Monitor job progress, address any issues or delays, and report them to management.
Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, good attitudes, and professional behavior among crew members.
Take direction from upper management and ensure all instructions are carried out accurately and promptly.
Handle any on-site emergencies or unforeseen issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the Big Sur job site.
Work Ethic: A good attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure.
References: Must provide strong professional references.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
