Description We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for our employees. The ideal candidate will excel in end-user support, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong background in onboarding and offboarding processes. This role requires proficiency in Mac systems, SaaS applications, and the Google ecosystem. Located in the Oakland, California, area, this IT Support Specialist role is a contract / temporary in nature.Your responsibilities
Guide new hires through the onboarding process, including orientation sessions and training on essential tools and software.
Provide ongoing support to end users, addressing queries and technical issues related to tools and systems.
Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring a seamless transition and adherence to company policies.
Gather feedback from employees to identify areas for improvement in onboarding processes and tools usage.
Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee proficiency in tools and software.
Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges faced by employees.
Offer personalized and responsive customer service to ensure a positive employee experience.
Requirements
5+ years experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Mac systems, SaaS applications, and Google Workspace.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide high-touch customer service with a focus on individualized training.
Experience in gathering and analyzing feedback to improve processes.
Prior training experience is preferred.
