Description We are working with a well known organization that is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join on a contract basis. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the overall operations of our affordable housing properties. This will include maintenance, tenant relations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance with affordable housing programs.Key Responsibilities:· Oversee all property operations ensuring compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, and business practices.· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning affordable housing properties.· Responsible for rent collections, managing delinquencies, evictions, tenant move-ins and move-outs procedures.· Oversee all maintenance, including routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.· Conduct regular property inspections to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standard.· Coordinate with staff to prepare annual budgets, monthly financial variance, and operations analysis.· Resolve tenant complaints and issues in a timely and sensitive manner.· Oversee contractors and vendors performing services and work on the property.· Develop community awareness and relationships to support the affordable housing program's goals.· Conduct regular meetings with tenants, community members, and staff to address concerns, issues, and ideas that foster a sense of community.· Assist with tenant selection, lease management, and ensure adherence to applicable housing laws and company policies.Requirements · Minimum of three years’ experience in property management, preferably in the affordable housing sector.· Knowledge of HUD regulations, Section 8, and other applicable affordable housing programs is a must.· Strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with tenants, staff, and contractors.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
