Execute Edwards’ agile transformation strategy
Serve as an Agile leader and lead the train the trainer efforts within IT
Coach scrum teams and leaders at every level of the organization
Support the agile mindset across Edwards Lifesciences
Mentor change champions
Process improvement
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor’s Degree in related field + 10 years of direct experience managing complex projects or programs.
What else we look for (Preferred):Agile / Scrum mindset
5+ years of Agile project or program management experience
Experience leading software development and ITSM teams to the scrum methodology
Previous experience serving an organization that has undergone an agile transformation, and overcoming challenges that arise during that transformation
Experience using the Scrum framework, within an IT software regulated environment
Strong understanding of agile methodologies (i.e., Scrum and Scrum@Scale)
Utilize an agile mindset consistent with the Scrum Core Values: openness, courage, respect, focus, commitment
An agile champion who will promote agile practices across the organization
Driven to accomplish objectives through coaching, inspiring, and instilling in our business and technology teams to ensure a culture of transparency, value creation, elimination of waste, continuous improvement, and a focus on frequent and rapid delivery of highest business value solutions
Utilize expertise in agile, lean and scrum techniques while leading successful organizational change management through influence and facilitation
Coaching Skills
10+ years of coaching and/or training experience
Function as a servant leader and change agent to coach individuals and teams across a large or complex business area to adopt Agile principles, values, and practices while role modeling leadership behaviors
Understand and support implementation of metrics to optimize delivery of KPIs and OKR’s through assessment of responsiveness, quality, productivity, and customer and business value
Facilitate workshops and trainings on Agile topics, leveraging toolkits and internally developed content
Actively raise observed issues and partner with teams and leaders to remove impediments and resolve conflicts
Continuously assess the Agile maturity of teams and individuals at all levels of leadership, educating and mentoring to address gaps
Contribute to internal and external Agile communities to stay abreast of challenges, leading practices, and emerging trends
Excellent team relationship building skills that enable transparent conversations
Demonstrate a relentless positivity that allows the team to overcome challenges that may seem insurmountable
Conflict resolution skills including empathy and radical candor (caring personally while challenging directly)
Motivate and help teams build confidence in a new way of working
