Description We are in search of a Payroll Specialist for a company in the Manufacturing Industry! They are located in Oceanside and will need someone to work in-person daily. This opening could turn into a permanent role in the future, but only suitable for those who are currently unemployed at the moment due to speedy start date.
Process employee time and payroll information bi-weekly with precision and timeliness.
Maintain daily timecards and ensure payroll is processed and received on schedule.
Process payroll information, garnishments, 401(k) updates, perks, and more, keeping Finance informed.
Bridge the gap between employees and our payroll vendor, guaranteeing payroll reflects company policies.
Manage third-party payroll system upgrades and standardization for HR, being the first point of contact for issues.
Answer payroll inquiries, providing clear and timely resolutions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive internal controls and documentation for payroll and time & attendance policies.
Contribute to other HR tasks as needed.
Requirements
Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in payroll processing and accounting software (ADP preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle inquiries clearly and patiently.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Enjoys problem-solving and finding efficient solutions.
Understanding of relevant pay policies and government regulations.
