Description Robert Half is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Oceanside. Process a high volume of invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address payment inquiries and resolve issues.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts.
Maintain vendor files and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in implementing process improvements and best practices to streamline the accounts payable process.
Provide support to other members of the accounting team and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software applications, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
