Job Title: Controller/Accounting Manager
Location: Santa Ana in-office with some remote opportunities

We are a small company experiencing some sudden growth seeking a skilled and adaptable Controller/Accounting Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
2. Prepare reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
3. Monitor cash flow, budget, and financial performance against financial goals.
4. Coordinate and review month-end and year-end financial statements, including monthly bank reconciliations.
5. Oversee the preparation of sales tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations across multiple states.
6. Work with management to give “snapshots” of current standings and upcoming cash flow changes.
7. Work closely with office team on AP and AR.
Qualifications:
1. Background in Finance, Accounting, or related field. QuickBooks experienced preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial management or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication.
