JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist, Seeking a candidate with 2+ years of full cycle accounts payable processing experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience and an AA degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Accounts payable clerk Essential Job duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing the full cycle AP invoices weekly.
Accounts Payable Clerk will handle research and discrepancies, AP accruals and assist with the month-end close.
Will be responsible for vendor management, check runs, and credit card payments
Data entry of vendor invoices and credit card receipts
Processing checks for vendor payments.
Checking vendor statements
Maintenance of all payable vendor files [ archiving]
Print Reports
Communicate with vendors.
Credit card reconciliation
Accounts payable, processing invoices, matching, batching, and coding
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
COMPUTER SKILLS
-SAGE AND ACCPAC
Proficiency in Excel –pivot tables-, V Look-ups and Macros a plus
Knowledge of SAP and QuickBooks a plus.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- General Accounting principles
-Financial analysis/research/reporting
Requirements:

Computer literate [ excel , Microsoft word]
2 years of Accounts payable experience
