As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be expected to independently perform complex design tasks and solve major design issues with minimal supervisory input.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the central design figure on a team by designing the layout of:
Rough and precise grading and erosion control plans
Public, offsite, and street improvement plans
Underground utility plans to include to include water and sewer design
Preparing technical reports including hydrology and hydraulics, earthwork, sewer capacity, water demand, etc.
Involvement in the preliminary DD and CD phase, completing due diligence, feasibility studies, and entitlements
Providing construction support through site visits, project coordination, and responding to RFI’s
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited four year college or university
Minimum 5 years of land development design experience
At least two years experience independently solving complex engineering problems within land development
Proficiency in Civil 3D, Autocad, and/or LDD software
