Busy medical office (Ophthalmology and Optometry) practice in Newport Beach seeking Full-Time Back Office Assistant. We are looking for an individual who is smart, friendly, energetic, detail oriented, and focused who takes initiative. No medical experience necessary but helpful. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Candidate must have the ability to multi-task, have an outstanding work ethic, be punctual, and possess superb communication skills. Computer skills required. Strong teamwork skills are a must. You will be required to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 8:45am to 1pm. This job is approximately 36 hours per week. We are closed on Holiday Weekends.
Primary job responsibilities are back office which include patient testing, history taking, assisting in minor office procedures, contact lens training, visual field testing, fundus photos, and patient work up. Front office responsibilities include appointments, telephones and checking in / checking out procedures.
