We are a small team of expert engravers and designers of awards and recognition products. As a small family-owned business based in Anaheim, California, founded in 1978, we have been in operation for over 47 years. We are looking for someone to join our team that will be with us for years to come.
Qualifications:
Graphics software working knowledge, preferably Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator
A knack for attention to details; artistic; good spelling skills
General knowledge of fractions and decimals; a good eye for measurements
Enjoy working with hands
Strong organizational skills
Experience meeting deadlines
Ability to follow up on assigned tasks, and see a project through from start to finish
Self-starter that is able to work independently and able to figure things out with minimal direction
Willing to learn our production processes and remain up to date with new technologies; teachable spirit
Works well with customers via e-mail; polite and professional
Specifics:
Arrive on time and ready to begin work; hours are flexible
Production; assembly; cleaning; and packaging of name tags, name plates, wall plaques, crystal and acrylic awards, trophies, medals, and other customizable items
Will be customizing items using various processes, such as: laser engraving, rotary engraving, sublimation
Manage the flow of production throughout the day, determine priority of orders, and keep customers informed of the status of their orders
Complete orders before or on their due date
Maintain good care of the machinery, servicing when necessary
Salary and benefits:
Hour wage: trial / training period 4 weeks $18 per hour; after that $20 per hour with opportunity for growth!
Hours are flexible: part time or full time: ideally begin as part time and work into full
time. Store hours are 10AM - 5PM, Monday through Friday. Weekends off. During busy periods, you may be asked to work for some time on the weekend, but that is a very rare occurrence.
