We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires proficiency in Quickbooks, particularly QuickBooks Payroll. and includes general accounting, administrative support, and client communication. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated and able to manage a range of bookkeeping and office- related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks (Online/Desktop)
Process payroll bi-weekly and ensure compliance with federal and state regulationsReconcile bank and credit card statements
Manage accounts payable and vendor payments
Prepare financial reports as needed
Handle follow-up emails with clients and vendors in a professional manner
Assist with general office duties such as filing, data entry and document organization
Support the team with various administrative takes.
Qualifications:
Proficient in QuickBooks
Experience in small construction business bookkeeping and accounting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Schedule and & Compensation
Flexible schedule, must be available for at least 20 hours per week.
Opportunity for additional hours based on workload and performance
