Description Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Conduct three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports to ensure correct payment.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH, or other methods.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain vendor files and ensure W-9 forms are collected and updated.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
