Job DescriptionBecome an Organizational Readiness, OCM & Communications Senior Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. We are building a team to lead SCE’s NextGen Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program focused on streamlining and modernizing our processes/systems across the ERP landscape. Our migration to the next generation of SAP’s ERP software will enable new digital solutions, increase automation, integrate artificial intelligence, and improve data access and quality.NextGen ERP is a large, sophisticated multi-year program crafted to transform the way the electric utility operates. Additionally, you should love using technology to solve problems and want your work to make a difference in the world.The OCM senior manager collaborates with Operational, Finance, and Technology Integration leads, process owners, and leadership across the company to ensure that the project objectives and benefits are aligned with the organizational vision and goals.A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

Manages the OCM workstreams, including change impact assessments and analysis, creating strategies and interventions aligned with impacts, and implementing change management programs across the enterprise.

Managesthe communication strategy, including drafting and delivery of all program level communications related to NextGen ERP.

Leads the strategy and criteria for OCM activities/projects delivered by the Service Integrator (SI) scope of work; responsible for quality and timely acceptance of results from the SI.

Identifies innovative techniques for promoting successful user adoption through application of organizational readiness methodologies adapted to the SCE culture and NextGen ERP objectives.

Demonstrates ownership of NextGen’s strategic objectives, operational priorities and plans to ensure realization of strategic objectives.

Manages budget, governance, internal controls and project / program compliance.

Provides leadership to a team of professionals comprised of internal SCE personnel (matrixed and non-matrixed; direct and indirect) and external (non-Edison) contractors, consultants, and supplemental workers.

QualificationsThe essentials:

Five or more years managing/supervising an organization/unit or performing project management leadership.

Five or more years of proven experience in organizational development, training, or business readiness.

The Preferred:

Experience with managing sourcing efforts and/or managing vendors successfully.

Five or more years of experience managing an organizational, training development and/or organizational change function for an enterprise-wide level program/project.

Two years experience with strategic planning having large impact on the organization, developing assumptions for performance and prioritizing critical initiatives.

Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Business, or another related field.

Experience working with Copilot, ChatGPT, GPT-3 and/or other GenAI technologies.

Experience with energy and/or utility business policies, objectives, strategies, goals, operations and applicable governmental laws and regulations.

Experience working in Transmission and/or Distribution business unit.

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

Position may require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
