The CookHouse has an opening for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and willingness to assist our BOH reach their top potential in our industry.
Here is what we are looking for:
Attention to detail and commitment to consistency and excellence.
Ability to organize and prioritize work in a busy kitchen, work on line as needed.
Ability to maintain food quality, presentation, & sanitation standards.
Experience maintaining food storage, inventory, and food cost containment.
Someone with widespread food and cooking knowledge to train and teach kitchen staff in all positions.
Ability to create creative new menu items and specials that are consistent with our style, concept, and price point.
Banquet cooking for up to 200 guests.
A communicator who can maintain our current (great) level of cooperation between FOH and BOH.
Applicants must have minimum of 2 years' experience in a (non-fast-food) professional kitchen environment.
Must have strong Leadership skills
Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
Must have valid California Food Handler's License.
Must be available for all shifts including Holidays.

About Bridge Bay Marina:
Bridge Bay Marina is a complete resort featuring lodging, dining, groceries, tackle and bait, and a full-service marina. We offer a large rental fleet of houseboats, ski boats, fishing boats and patio boats. Bridge Bay Marina is located approximately 10 miles north of Redding. We are a drug free workplace and a pre-employment drug test for illegal drugs mandated by the federal government will be required.
Staff members can receive a free houseboat trip and up to two days rental of a small boat per year. Employees will be responsible for fuel and oil.
