In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Intake of all new matters reported to the Edison HelpLine and the Ethics Office. You will be responsible to review and triage of all allegation matters reported to the HelpLine in a timely and efficient matter, including work environment concerns and advice matters. You will contact reporting parties to gather additional information if necessary and will triage all matters to the appropriate personnel for handling and follow-up. You will play a key role in ensuring that our employees exhibit the Company values and follow our policies by collaborating with various partners, including Human Resources, Corporate Security and the Law Department.As an Ethics Investigator, Intake Advisor , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Conduct intakes reported to the Edison HelpLine.

Collaborate with various partners, including Human Resources, Corporate Security and the Law Department, in the review of these matters to ensure a smooth transition. Identify potential Significant Matters and escalate to the Director of Investigations and the CECO. Identify and properly track Privileged Investigations and monitor for Legal Hold Notices. Provide advice and guidance to the investigators and stakeholders on an as-needed basis.

Manage the HelpLine system, Convercent, ensuring that cases files are updated and handled appropriately.

Manage the Company’s case management system for all investigations (Convercent). Ensures system stability, data integrity, and policy adherence, updating files as appropriate. Update and maintain access administrator functions for Convercent users (issue/manage/deactivate user accounts) as needed.

Assist in the preparation of various reports that contain HelpLine data and are provided to upper management for review.

Oversee the Employee vetting program, and active participant of anti-retaliation program, and quality assurance program.

Conduct Ethics Investigation on an as needed basis when the Ethics Office has resource constraints. Draft Reports of Investigation. In addition, conduct outreach and training regarding the HelpLine process to employees on an as needed basis.

QualificationsThe essentials

Seven or more years’ experience in corporate hotline Intake and Triage, and/or investigating, evaluating, negotiating, or resolving claims for or against a company (e.g., performing HR investigations, conducting root cause analyses, conducting internal employee investigations, conducting investigative audits, or investigating violations).

The preferred

Bachelor’s or higher in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Public Administration, Criminal Justice or a related field.

Law degree from an accredited law school.

You should know

This position’s work mode is hybrid .  The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
