Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!Join our team as a Quality Assurance Advisor of planning, design, and architecture of IT systems to ensure the stability and operational effectiveness of our products. You'll establish metrics, analyze reports, and recommend corrective actions. Leading and coordinating Managed Service Providers (MSP) architecture and engineering services with strategic direction, technology oversight, and portfolio planning are key responsibilities. Be a key enabler, contributing to vendor quality improvement programs. Ensuring application stability, design standards, and product readiness for operation at a business unit and company-wide level are crucial.!!The essentials

Ten (10) or more years of experience in Information Technology, Operations, Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, and/or technical related field.

Three (3) or more years of technical experience in application development & maintenance of IT systems covering various innovative technologies (Ex: SAP (EAM, FSM, SAM), JAVA, Microsoft O365, Microsoft D365, Microsoft Power Platform, Snowflake, API’s etc.).

Experience supporting application portfolio of large electric utility organization – Preferably supporting Transmission & Distribution Engineering & Planning, Work Management, and Field Mobility.

The preferred

Master’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical major.

Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams located in different time zones.

Experience and knowledge of API, integration, event driven, (micro) services architectures.

Experience providing leadership and communicating progress on projects and operations.

You should know

· This position’s work mode is hybrid.  The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

The primary work location for this position is Rosemead, CA but this position will travel about 5% of the time to other office locations throughout SCE’s service territory.
