Our Firm is seeking an Experienced Assurance Staff member to join our fast-growing well-established regional Firm. This position requires a passionate and high-energy candidate to balance time between partnering with a team of assurance professionals across a portfolio of projects and personally engaging with our clients. It’s the perfect role if you’re looking to diversify your professional management skills and experiences, all while further developing your leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for completing the audit assignment;

Possess the desire and ability to maintain positive client relationships;

Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, accounting errors, and irregularities, fraud, or non-compliance with laws and regulations;

Interview clients to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with laws and regulations;

Understand and evaluate accounting systems and recommending controls to ensure its reliability and integrity;

Perform research on accounting issues when arise;

Prepare detailed audit findings;

Effectively utilize CCH ProSystem fx Engagement software.

Qualifications:

Strong communication, research, analytical, and writing skills.

Proven technical skills with Microsoft Office.

Experience with accounting software. (i.e., CCH® ProSystem fx®, Suralink, etc.)

Solid organization skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.

0 - 1+ years of independent audit experience in public accounting.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, or related field.

Sufficient course work to achieve CPA certification upon passing the examination.

Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing/tax standards.
