Looking for QBO ProAdvisor to help support our tax practice and build out our new accounting services department. This role is all reconciliations and monthly close outs - not daily accounting processes.
Experience with the bank feed process in QBO (and checking the rules that seem to mess it up)
Experienced with Bill.com i.e. managing the integration with QBO and maybe overseeing the set up process for a new client
Familiar with square, strip and other third party payment platforms
Monthly sales tax return
Pull reports from payroll platform to prepare payroll entries
Also accrue payroll and payroll taxes monthly (and then reverse)
Reconcile year to date gross wages and payroll taxes
Prepare and record payroll allocations into respective projects (from ADP timecard report/client data)
Mapping third party i.e. Square or Gusto to QBO
UNDEPOSITED FUNDS – fixing issues in this area
Set up new clients in QBO
Prep QBO for tax preparation
Upload support to QBO when relevant
Bank and credit card reconciliations and how to enter stuff in not in bank feed/QBO
Scanning comparative reports to see if any coding errors
Requirements
AA accounting degree at a minimum
Excellent excel skills to leverage QBO such a pivot table and converting pdfs
Accurate yet efficient
This is an in-office role in a beautiful office with many amenities! The hours can increase as the department grows.
