We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team at Cobabe Brothers Plumbing! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
Candidate must have a minimum of 3-5+ years working as a Bookkeeper, Accountant or similar position in Construction based business.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING AS AN ACCOUNTANT FOR CONSTRUCTION
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
- Collaborating with the project managers to develop detailed, cost-effective budgets for their projects
- Performing accounting duties throughout the project
- Analyzing all transactions and working unforeseen costs into the budget
- This position will be responsible for the overall financials of the company.
- This position reports direct to the President of the company.
- Position will be responsible for overseeing accounting and payroll staff and may be required to assist in the
responsibilities of these departments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Cost of Completion Accounting Knowledge and Experience
- Preparing complete financial statements for lenders
- Job Accounts & Job Costing
- Preparing and submitting Billing for Construction projects
- Cash Flow statements and Projections Experience
- Utilizing Integrated Bookkeeping software (i.e. Quickbooks, Spectrum)
- Analyzing Transactions
- Must have current experience performing accounting, bookkeeping or related experience for a construction company. Candidates with commercial plumbing office accounting will be given highest priority.
- Ability to communicate and work as a team player is a must!
Salary: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Construction Accounting / Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
- Plumbing Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Managerial accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
- Drivers License (Required)
