I need a heavy hitting bookkeeping practice manager. Please read the entire post before replying so you know what I am looking for.
-Full time work 5 days a week with hours somewhere between 7:00 am and 6pm PST zone.
-QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop expert and certified on both. AA or higher in accounting preferred.
-10 years bookkeeping experience with California focus.
-Extensive experience using Keeper as a practice management software
-Can answer basic tax and entity questions and understands CA sales tax rules.
-Experience with reviewing files and find errors and work with the team to get the errors fixed.
-Ability to manage complex clean up projects
-Can do/manage complex journal entries, reconcile payroll liability accounts and teach the process to team members as needed.
-Someone technically advanced so they can figure out bugs and make sure our platforms are always running at maximum efficiency.
-Organized, organized, organized and very detailed
-Works well with others and likes to train people the correct way to do things.
-Likes to make SOPs and loom videos
-Perfect spoken and written English
I have a small all and growing bookkeeping firm. I need someone full time to run the entire back end of the practice cradle to grave. This will allow me to step away from the day to day and only focus on client contact and bringing in new work. This will not be an easy hire as it requires someone that will wear a lot of hats, that could run their own business if they wanted but choose not to have to deal with dealing with clients, marketing and selling or maybe does not want to do bookkeeping full time anymore and likes more of a variety. You will not be doing the day to day bookkeeping unless you have extra time but need to know it at expert level. This is not a bookkeeper position but a managing a team and work flow position.
