Essential Job Duties and Functions:

• Lead the Business Modernization Cohort 1's data conversion activities on behalf of OIS.
• Collaborate with the OIS project team and system integrator to create and refine data conversion artifacts, including but not limited to a Data Conversion Plan and data mapping documents.
• Coordinate data conversion testing efforts, including pre and post conversion testing and general guidance.
• Provide recommendations on the scheduling of data conversion tasks and deliverables to project leadership.
• Recommend, develop, and execute legacy and target database data cleanup strategies.
• Develop and execute automated data cleanup scripts.
• Participate in project-related meetings, including but not limited to daily stand-up, project director meeting, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective meetings. These meetings will be conducted primarily remotely on Microsoft Teams.
• Track data conversion related defects in the JIRA defect and enhancement tracking tool.
• Provide a monthly report to project leadership that provides data conversion metrics, completed and upcoming tasks, and any other items requiring attention and that conforms with an agreed upon deliverable expectation document
• Provide a final data conversion status report within one month of the contract end date.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 7+ years of applying Enterprise Architecture principles with 5+ years of that experience in a lead capacity.
• At least two engagements, within the last 10 years, for a federal, state or local government level information technology project performing data conversion activities, including mapping, data patch cleanup scripts, and data cleanliness reports.
• At least two years of experience in the last five years performing data conversion activities, including mapping, data patch cleanup scripts, and data cleanliness reports.
• At least one engagement in the last five years converting from a SQL Server 2005 legacy database.
• At least two years of experience developing technical documentation of data conversion rules, data conversion test scripts, and data conversion status update reports.
• Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working with AGILE methodology approach.
• Experience working with a cloud-based software solution.
• Experience converting from a mainframe legacy database system (e.g. ADABAS, COBAL, NATURAL).
