Position Summary:
Kniesel's Collision, a family-owned leader in collision repair with multiple locations across Northern California, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auto Body Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and detailing of customer vehicles following repair services, ensuring a pristine presentation that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Position Available: Auto Body Detailer (Full-Time)
Location: Kniesel's Collision – Auburn, 13810 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA 95603
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Detailing: Perform comprehensive interior and exterior detailing of vehicles following collision repairs, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and removing dust and debris.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to identify any remaining dirt, damage, or imperfections, ensuring all vehicles meet Kniesel’s Collision’s high-quality standards before delivery.
Cosmetic Touch-Ups: Perform minor cosmetic enhancements such as paint touch-ups, headlight polishing, and blemish correction to improve overall vehicle appearance.
Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with team members to ensure vehicles are returned to customers in pristine condition, contributing to a positive customer experience.
Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe detailing area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
Technical Assistance: Support repair technicians with prep work such as masking, taping, and sanding as needed.
Inventory Management: Monitor and restock detailing supplies and tools to maintain adequate inventory.
Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Production Manager or General Manager.
Skills and Requirements:
Prior experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and procedures.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Physically able to stand, kneel, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
