Marina Maintenance Assistant – Full-Time

Come join the Riverbank Marina team! We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Marina Maintenance Assistant to help keep our property running smoothly. Riverbank Marina spans 15 acres and includes 200 boat slips, 15 office spaces, and multiple parking areas. No two days are the same here, and this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team to keep a dynamic waterfront environment safe, clean, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Maintenance Manager with daily operations and special projects
Execute maintenance task lists and work orders in a timely manner
Perform upkeep of docks, parking lots, and office spaces
Handle general cleaning of docks, bathrooms, fuel station, and parking areas
Provide landscaping support and groundskeeping
Complete basic building maintenance tasks (plumbing, drywall patching, painting, HVAC, light electrical, etc.)
Support inventory and security of supplies
Maintain accurate logs and basic written reports of work performed
Ensure a safe environment for staff, tenants, and visitors
Communicate regularly with management and team members
Preferred Skills & Experience
HVAC systems and maintenance
Deck replacement and repair
Basic welding
Electrical work
Skilled with hand tools and power tools
Basic computer proficiency
Additional helpful skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Strong communication and reporting skills
Observant and proactive nature to anticipate maintenance needs
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times during a shift
Ability to carry heavy loads up and down stairs
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compensation
$24 – $28 per hour, depending on experience
