Position Summary

As a Seal Coating / Laborer, you will be involved in physical labor on private and commercial construction projects. Your tasks will include preparing sites for sealcoating, crack fill, and striping projects. You may also operate various hand-held and power tools. Must have Seal Coat experience-Hiring Now Room for advancement!

Site Preparation:

Clean and prepare job sites for sealcoating, crack fill, and striping.

Pick up tools and equipment daily to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Material Handling, Storage and Transportation:

Load and unload trucks.

Haul and hoist materials as needed.

Current Driver License and acceptable DMV record required to drive company vehicle.

Safety and Incident Reporting:

Follow proper safety procedures.

Report any issues or problems to the crew head.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to work effectively in a team.

Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand, and perform labor under adverse field conditions.

Good communication skills (both oral and written).

Proper use of construction equipment and tools.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Dependability and consistency in meeting attendance schedules.

Education, Training, and Experience

No specific educational requirements; a combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the work.

Willingness to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions (training will be provided).

Environmental Demands

Location: Outdoors (exposure to all elements).

Noise Level: Typically loud at most job sites.

Lighting Level: Exposed to natural lighting (sun).

Amount of Movement: Standing for long periods and heavy/light manual labor.

Cleanliness/Orders: Job sites can be dirty and may have smells like tar and exhaust fumes.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses, earplugs, masks, gloves, and hard hats will be provided for use by your crew head.
