As the Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering large volumes of data into Microsoft Excel as well as ERP systems and databases, among other accounting and finance support functions. This Data Entry Clerk role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity in Salinas, California.Your responsibilities in this role

Adhering to policies and procedures when performing operations; reporting needed revisions

Following techniques and procedures for data program and meeting data entry requirements

Working with highly confidential materials

Working on special projects as assigned

Gathering and organizing information to be entered into the computer; prioritizing entries

Supporting the company in data entry and other administrative tasks

Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies Requirements - Comprehensive knowledge of data entry

Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred

Expertise in navigating basic office equipment and protocols

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

Basic Math Skills experience

Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

High school diploma or comparable degree

1+ years of relevant experience

Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy

Strong Microsoft Excel skills required

Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Excellent communication and organizational skills
