As the Data Entry Clerk, you will handle a range of accounting and finance tasks, including accurate data entry of information into Microsoft Excel as well as ERP systems and databases. Located in Salinas, California, this Data Entry Clerk role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity.Your responsibilities
Carrying out operations, using policies and procedures; detailing necessary revisions
Aiding the company in data entry and additional administrative tasks
Working with highly confidential materials
Acting in accordance with data program techniques and procedures to ensure data entry requirements are met
Processing customer and account source documents, reviewing data and detecting deficiencies
Assisting with special projects as required
Preparing data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities Requirements - High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent
1+ years of applicable experience
Solid understanding of Computer Data Entry
Data entry experience required
Ensure Accuracy experience preferred
Strong familiarity with Excel Formulas
Fulfill a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy
Highly organized and self-motivated
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight
Expert Microsoft Excel skills required
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
