Description Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our business systems implementation projects, with a strong emphasis on providing oversight and strategic direction. While familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics NAV, is beneficial, the core of this role focuses on project management excellence and the ability to deliver successful outcomes across various initiatives. The successful candidate will be adept at working collaboratively with internal teams, managing external vendor relationships, and ensuring that projects align with our business objectives and drive continuous improvement. Duration: 3 to 4 month contract to permanent Location: Salinas, CA Onsite 5 days a week Requirements Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of business systems projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of NAV functionality and its application within the organization's business processes. Work closely with operations managers and key stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, set timelines, and define project deliverables. Offer hands-on support and strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating collaboration among internal teams and external partners. Manage external vendors, overseeing contract negotiations, monitoring performance, and addressing challenges to ensure project success. Cultivate a deep understanding of business system functionalities, particularly focusing on how these systems can be leveraged to meet business needs. Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, driving continuous improvement in our business systems and operational practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of ERP systems, with specific experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred. At least 5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successful project delivery in business systems implementation or similar fields. Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects in a dynamic and changing environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels within the organization. Experience in managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, capable of translating complex business requirements into actionable project plans and technical solutions.
