East County Subcontractor is looking for an intelligent person with excellent work ethic to fill our entry level Construction Accounting/Payroll Assistant position. Prefer a candidate with 1-2 years’ recent construction experience, but willing to train the right candidate for a long-term position at our company. Candidates should be extremely meticulous, trustworthy, possess common sense, make good decisions, and show up when scheduled to work. Must be accurate, like working with numbers, be organized and pro-active. Excellent oral and written communication skills, above average Excel skills, ability to multi-task, and write grammatically correct correspondence. Prefer someone with at least basic to mid-level office skills, Microsoft 365, etc., and open to additional education & and training as needed. Must pass pre-employment drug screen. We participate in e-Verify.
