Bay Park Early Learning Center (BPELC) has been part of the community for over 30-years.
BPELC provides children with hands on learning that promotes child development, while
building partnerships with a wide range of people with varying beliefs and values. We promote
this philosophy through a nourishing, play-based preschool curriculum.
We are seeking qualified full-time team members for teaching positions.
RESPONSIBLILITES AND DUTIES
Supervise, assist, and instruct the children in the classroom and implementing lesson plans in a
loving and fun atmosphere. Provide conferences, assessments and contribute to the growth and
development of the program. Teachers have full responsibility of the classroom and environment
pertaining to child development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least 12 post-secondary semester units in early childhood education. The
units covering child growth and development, child family and community courses, and
program or curriculum and infant toddler.
Must be friendly, inviting, even tempered, love to play, and adaptable.
Criminal background check/fingerprint clearance.
Must have current TB test, first aid and CPR certification
COMPENSATION
Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, medical and 401k plan.
