Duties and Responsibilities

Review the project plans and understand the scope of the assigned work.

Oversee all stages of the project life cycle

Manage project budgets

Ensure overall success of a project, including effectively managing team members such as Superintendents, Project Engineers, Design Professionals, Construction Managers, and Owners.

Supervise anywhere from 5 to 15 employees per project.

Effectively onboard Subcontractors and vendors to fulfill project needs.

Manage the Prime Contract Change Order Process and the subcontractor change order process.

Be a proactive leader to ensure the success of all team members, including subcontractors, vendors, superintendents, project engineer and the whole team.

Create and maintain project schedules to ensure project milestones are communicated, tracked, and proactively managed.

Manage the procurement process via submittal records, material tracking logs, and long lead items tracking.

Assist the Superintendent in managing and coordinating the day-to-day fieldwork to ensure the project is done in an orderly and deliberate manner consistent with the client agreement, within the budget, and compliant with governing codes and ordinances.

Have public works construction management experience

Enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Be effective at scheduling and multitasking.

Have a strong knowledge of building details and products.

Have strong problem-solving skills. Communicate problems and solutions to the project team and client effectively.

Possess the ability to provide cost and time-effective solutions to project challenges.

Provide ongoing quality control and quality assurance for all construction activities.

Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

Project management software experience: PROCORE EXPERIENCE IS A BIG PLUS

Bilingual English and Spanish are a plus.
