Local Steel Fabricator seeking Project Manager
- Must have a minimum of 5-10 years experience with handling Commercial and Residential projects over $500,000
- Must have complete knowledge and understanding of all aspects involving Structural Steel (Steel columns, beams and channels)/Misc. Iron (Stairways, stair towers with railings, store front steel, canopies and trellis's)
-Must have the ability to understand contracts, read blueprints, do material take-offs, provide material and labor estimates, write proposals, work-up change orders and price out and buy material.
-Must understand the shop drawings submittal process along with some City requirements.
-Must have knowledge of AWS D1.1 and AISC requirements. This includes,
- High strength bolts along with weld symbols
-Fillet welds, partial pen and full pen
