Wildman & Morris, a Ramona, CA based Architect-Engineer firm has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Structural Designer. Position requires a minimum of 3-5 Years of design experience. This individual will have solid experience in the design of steel, concrete, and masonry buildings, both in new and existing construction. Military and/or commercial experience is preferred but not required. Successful candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects.
Collaborate with architectural staff, owner, and contractor to provide a well-coordinated and high-quality set of structural drawings.
Represent Structural Design Team in meetings with contractors and owners.
Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure minimize the possibilities of complications.
Maintain a working relationship with clients.
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering required.
Master’s degree in structural engineering preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience.
Registration as a CA P.E. preferred.
Consulting experience within the A/E/C industry required.
Familiarity with engineering software such as STAAD, Risa and Enercalc.
Ability to develop construction documents in Revit and AutoCad.
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and time management skills.
