Description Our client, a leading name in the biotech industry, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail, a passion for the biotech industry, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
Regularly reconcile all company bank accounts
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
Analyze and summarize account information and trends for financial reports
Manage payroll functions and prepare checks
Conduct all activities related to the accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
Understand and adhere to the specific financial practices of the biotech industry
Requirements
An Associate's degree in finance, business, or a relevant field; a BSc/BA in accounting or a related field is a plus
Proven bookkeeping experience with references
Familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting software
A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/accounts receivable principles
Strong numerical and data entry skills
A professional demeanor and strong ethical code
A strong ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
