Clinical Application SpecialistAs a Clinical Application Specialist – Digital & Computational Pathology, you will participate in various activities related to pre-sales support including demonstrations and presentations of the solution as well as process analysis, consultation, implementation, end user training, go-live and post go-live support.Your role:

Serve in a consultative role, through pre-sales, solution design, delivery, implementation, and service to provide customer a smooth, effective and successful implementation of Philips solutions

Analyzes the customer’s existing workflow and facilitates proper change management in the clinical or operational environment, ensures proper testing of the system and establishes a comprehensive training plan to provide for a smooth transition of the solution to the customer

Conduct current and future state workflow analysis and design for prospective customers, Configure the Philips Digital Pathology application to meet the workflow requirements of customers during implementation

Provide feedback and voice of customer, to the product and engineering teams for the Philips Digital Pathology solutions

Support tradeshow activities, attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence and/or licensure

You're the right fit if:

3+ years lab experience/ vendor experience with in-depth knowledge of the workings of a pathology lab OR 3+ years' experience with digital pathology workflows/implementation either as a vendor or a lab resource

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build/manage relationships, and interact professionally with partners, Philips management, peers and non-team members

Change management, Rapid improvement and Lean expertise preferred

You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field

Strong presentation skills and the confidence to share our solutions with key stakeholders from the lab to C-level executives

Willingness to travel up to 70% of employment time

Laboratory and or histology certification (HT) preferred

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.   • Summary The purpose of the position is to provide FAP clinical case management, treatment, and community liaison to commands, active-duty members and their families on child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse, other types of family violence, family dynamics and strengths, problematic sexual behavior in children and youth, and provide liaison/consultation services to supervisors and department heads concerning DoD/Navy FAP prevention and intervention. Responsibilities I. FAP Clinical Case Management Serve as the FAP clinical subject matter expert on domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect. Consult with installation leadership, medical professionals, and service/family members regarding clinical needs assessments, determining clinical intervention, and utilizing treatment strategies. Follow all processes, per Regional and local Standard Operating Procedures, Counseling Desk Guidance, and FFSP Certification Standards, and FAP Case Record documentation. Conduct initial and on-going FAP clinical assessments with and provide intervention services for active-duty members and their families, including clients who are at risk for domestic violence and child abuse. Triage, coordinate safety and treatment planning, and establish individualized treatment goals tailored to the needs of service/family members. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, incident assessments to identify high-risk situations, e.g., suicide or homicide risk, the danger-increased risk of additional family violence. Conduct clinical interviews to assess individuals determine the facts concerning the client\'s problems and to assess the needs of the client. Provide initial and ongoing case management services to include identifying the situation; comply with and educate on mandated reporting protocols of child and domestic ; conducting risk and lethality assessments, coordinate safety planning, planning clients\' treatment; provide referrals, and follow-up on child abuse/neglect and domestic abuse allegations. Provide clinical treatment for individuals, couples, children, families, and groups on family maltreatment. Facilitate evidence-based group treatment programs, such as domestic abuse offender\'s group, parenting group, and victim support group. Coordinate with the assigned FAP Victim Advocate to ensure victims\' needs and concerns are addressed. Present complete and concise initial and follow-up case information at Clinical Case Staff Meetings (CCSM); provide information on cases, current safety risks, safety planning, and progress of intervention of the abuser and victim; document results and implement recommendations. Provide referrals and coordinate with other providers, as recommended by the CCSM. Notify the Family Advocacy Representative (FAR) for high-risk situations. Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth Receive reports of problematic sexual behaviors in children and youth (PSB-CY) from military and civilian representatives and take appropriate action. Provide or coordinate clinical services providers for children, youth, and their families, including psychoeducational support, assessment, and clinical intervention. Coordinate with healthcare providers on safety and supervision planning for children and families affected by problematic sexual behaviors.
