Our team focuses on cultivating delivery through collaboration, creativity, and innovations to: meet people where they are, garner insight and support; and build meaningful connections and trust. We support the development and delivery of some of the most innovative and immersive web applications in the transportation industry.The ideal candidate will be able to drive the execution, delivery, and coordination of digital solutions focused on public engagement for transportation agencies including creating and monitoring project schedules, budgets, scope, and quality, as well as providing the team with resources and communicating issues. In addition, this candidate will work with our clients in supporting the planning and development of public engagement strategies focused on digital solutions. Being able to work on and prioritize multiple projects at one time, as well as have experience in consulting or a similar collaborative work environment within the transportation industry is a must for this position.What You’ll Do:

Viewed as an expert resource in geospatial technologies and application, provides mentoring, technical and design guidance to others. May coordinate the day to day work of the team.

Uses expertise in technologies to work on the most complex and impactful projects involving geospatial systems. Leads and manages all aspects of multiple strategic projects, actively managing budget and schedule, project communications and documentation.

Develops or customizes highly complex geospatial applications and interfaces using advanced programming tools and languages.

Develops project scopes, fees and proposals for review by management.

Leads meetings with clients and technology staff to define and document system requirements.

Stays abreast of changes in geospatial technology practices and recommends changes to technology, methodology and process standards, interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices/solutions.

Develops measures from data that can be used for continuous improvement of processes.

Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Geography or other related degree

8 years related experience

In lieu of education, 12 years related experience

What We Prefer:

Experience as a consultant or similar collaborative work environment is a must.

Transportation industry experience within the public engagement or communications discipline is a must.

Basic project and resource management skills.

Solid analytics and reporting skills.

Ability to manage multiple small/medium complexity projects and deadlines at one time.

Experience with customer/stakeholder management, analysis, creative problem solving, and communications.

Has the ability to ask the right questions to right size an estimate and scope based on client needs and requirements.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.

Understands the importance of quality delivery within a defined budget and timeline.

PMP Certification is a plus.
