Description Job Description:Robert Half is partnering with a tax firm in search of a meticulous and organized Data Entry Clerk. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring accurate data input for tax documentation and records. Input tax-related data into firm databases and systems with high accuracy.
Verify and cross-check data entries against source documents, such as tax returns and client forms.
Maintain and organize digital and physical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist with reviewing and correcting errors in data submissions to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and streamline data processes.
Handle confidential client information with discretion and professionalism.
Support additional administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
1+ years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles.
Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with tax or accounting software is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
