Become a maker of possible with us.The Electrical Engineer II in this role is an individual contributor with deep expertise in electrical and electro-mechanical systems focused on sustaining BD’s existing flagship Infusion Pumps.In addition to leading engineering projects of varying complexities, you will provide product lifecycle management support in finding solutions to component and peripherals’ obsolescence, conduct failure investigations, and resolve issues as they arise from operations, customers, and suppliers.Job Requirements :
Analyze and solve electronic and electrical circuits
Design and implement tests for investigative purposes
Document test procedures and test results
Analyze technical data (white papers, schematics, datasheets, specification sheets, etc.) to assist in problem resolution
Perform and document failure investigations following engineering standard methodologies and the DMAIC process (Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement, Control)
Asses circuit designs and performance
Select test methods and equipment to best assess failures and determine root cause
Solve technical problems with BD products and processes
Lead technical projects as a SME and a leader on variety of projects relating to the sustaining of BD Products from component, to sub-assemblies, to the system level, supporting the product lifecycle management.
Implement Engineering Change Orders consistent with company policies.
Lead/contribute to CAPA’s (Corrective Action Preventive Action) and failure investigations
Define/implement test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability
Lead validation and verification efforts
Expertise in the use of standard electronic laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers etc. required
Familiarity with LEAN/six sigma and medical device experience is a plus

Education & Experience Requirement:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 3 years experience or Masters with 2 years experience
