Title: Mechanical AssemblerShift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am-2:30pmLocation: Sorrento Valley, CaJob Description:Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electrics and pneumatic toolsFollowing established methods and procedures, must be able to perform, but not limited to, basic minor and major assembly operations necessary to build products; such as arranging, grouping, placing, taping, sealing, welding, and floor packagingBe able to read/comprehend and follow manufacturing work instructions in EnglishReport defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsComplete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with supervisionMust be able to perform simple mathematical calculations and countsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but will interview entry level candidatesHigh school educations; at least six months of work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust have a good command of the English language, both written and verbalThe use of fine motor skills via the hands to assemble products and use hand toolsGood hand and eye coordinationAbility to sit for extended periods of time performing repetitive assembly tasksRegularly required to sit or stand, bend and reachFor more information apply now!About Aerotek:Your success starts with the right career opportunity.
