I Am Looking to Hire Immediately A Housekeeping Assistant / House Manager

Location: Encinitas, CA

Hours: 6-10 hours per week, with potential for growth.

Summary:

About me:

I am a serial entrepreneur (Male) seeking a diligent and detail-oriented person to assist in maintaining order in my Cardiff ocean-view home. Ideally you are located in north county within a 5-10 minute drive time.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of household tasks to ensure a comfortable and well-organized living environment (laundry, putting away purchases/ordering things for home, keeping home organized, light cleaning and tidying up of main areas), food preparation (I eat a mostly Keto/Carnivore diet), and if you are “basic” handy at assembling small things that would be a huge bonus, and/or also like decorating spaces.

A bit about me: Spiritually oriented and appreciate a peaceful home. I run 2 companies currently and am looking for someone I can trust to “manage” and take care of the house without my oversight (most of the time). I am the antithesis of a micromanager once I Trust someone.

The right person will:

Know house things (has dealt with basic maintenance and house taking care of)

Handy in the Kitchen (light cooking, prep, putting away things)

Detail oriented, enjoys clean spaces/cleaning up and efficiency, and can handle a variation of tasks. I have a cleaning team that comes every 2-weeks to do heavy cleaning, etc…

I also AirBNB my home at points, so this would be ensuring that everything is stocked and running smoothly during these times as well as "transitioning" the house over at times (with movers support)

Key Responsibilities:

General Tidying and Cleaning Up

Regularly tidy up the house, including organizing living spaces and cleaning up the kitchen.

Wash dishes, wipe down surfaces, and ensure the home is neat and presentable at all times.

Laundry and Putting Away of Clothes

Building simple things with easy instructions.

Run Errands (Amazon Returns, Car Wash, Pickup Mail from Mailbox)

Meal Preparation:

Handle light meal preparation according to preferences. (nothing complicated).

Order groceries from Amazon, Instacart, etc. to keep the house stocked.

Package Management:

Receive packages, open and inspect contents for damage, break down boxes, and manage trash and recycling needs.

Handle returns and drop-offs promptly.

Other Tasks:

Help with basic misc tasks around the house.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in housekeeping or a similar role.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

Flexibility to handle various tasks as needed.

Familiarity with the kitchen and cooking and meal preparation.

A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order.

Work Environment and Conditions:

This role will be based at my home in Cardiff by the Sea, CA.
