Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in San Diego, California. This role encompasses leading the recruitment process, managing benefits administration, handling employee relations, and maintaining employee records. The successful candidate will work closely with department heads to address staffing needs and optimize workforce planning.This is a long-term contract, up to 6 months and can start immediately. Candidates are required to work a hybrid schedule with two days in office, only local candidates will be considered.Responsibilities: Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, including sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent Manage benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies Conduct audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and optimize workforce planning Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion Efficiently use HRMS and ATS for various HR functions Administer compensation and benefit functions Conduct employee performance management and handle conflicts Carry out employee relations investigations when necessarySkills: Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Familiarity with ATS Knowledge of employment law Understanding of benefit functions and compensation administration Knowledge of compliance regulations Expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and gathering employee feedback Experience with employee performance management and employee relations investigations.Requirements A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role, ideally in a managerial position. Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now. Knowledge and experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode. Understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration. Experience in ensuring Compliance in HR practices. Proven expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution and gathering employee feedback. Demonstrated ability in Employee performance management. Experience in conducting Employee Relations Investigations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
