JOB SUMMARY:The Rady Children's Physical Therapy Department offers rehabilitation services for children of all ages. Our staff works with patients & families to help each child achieve his or her optimal developmental & functional levels. We provide physical therapy (inpatient & outpatient) in the treatment of neurological, congenital, orthopedic, & developmental problems from infancy through young adult. Plans, coordinates & facilitates annual & long-range policy, program & financial objectives of the Physical Therapy Department through innovation & leadership. Manages daily operations of an inpatient pediatric & large outpatient physical therapy team, including pediatrics, orthopedics & sports medicine. Oversees joint orthopedic/physical therapy elite sports medicine program, -360 Sports Medicine-. Provides clinical management of the Physical Therapy Department, including oversight related to case management, care planning, clinical utilization & quality improvement. Ensures that physical therapy services of the highest quality are provided by staff across complex service lines. Serves as discipline subject matter expert & advocate for the team.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master’s DegreeBachelor’s Degree is acceptable if graduated prior to 20003 Years of ExperienceBLS for Health Providers (AHA)Physical Therapy LicensePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Doctorate’s Degree (Non MD)5 Years of ExperienceThe expected hiring range for this position is $52.95 to $72.81Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
