Ruby on Rails Developer
6 Month Contract/Contract-to-Hire
Remote w/ PST Core HoursSummary:
We're looking for a Ruby Developer who can read code and improve on it.
Moving an application from .NET / ASP.NET to RoR
Framework/Architecture is complete and coding is in progress
Some React experience with both the front and back end is a plus
Work directly with product managers, designers and developers to refine and ship featuresExperience:
5 plus years as a RoR Developer
2 years experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or NextJS Back-end experience
You understand SW Architecture at a high level
Able to convert/refactor portions of legacy codebase from .NET to Ruby
Strong work history with multiple RoR projects
Collaborate well with a small SW Development Team
Adapt and iterate quickly based on user feedback and product metrics
Ability to plan and scope large features
Passion for UI fluidity and performance
Ability to readily learn most technologies on-the-go
