Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in San Diego, California. This role is within a small team setting, with a key focus on core accounting functions. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently execute account reconciliations Oversee balance sheet reconciliations Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Handle general ledger activities Prepare and post journal entries as part of the account management process Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely financial reporting Operate NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Yardi systems for various accounting tasks Implement accrual accounting practices for financial management Manage accruals and ensure their accurate representation in the financial statements Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Strong understanding of General Ledger management Expertise in creating Journal Entries Proficient use of Microsoft Excel Experience in Month End Close procedures Familiarity with NetSuite software Knowledge of Oracle financial software Experience with SAP accounting software Proficiency in using Yardi software Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles Ability to manage Accruals.
