Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in San Diego, California. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team, providing comprehensive financial analysis, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring accurate and timely proposal submissions. This role involves frequent collaboration with various departments, including Contracts, Business Development, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, Accounting, and FP& A.Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive cost/price proposals in response to RFP solicitations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations Perform in-depth margin analysis against organizational targets to identify financial opportunities and risks Master our product and project pricing strategies to ensure accurate cost estimates for pricing and timely proposal submissions Communicate effectively with direct management regarding cost/pricing analysis, keeping senior personnel informed of identified risks and opportunities during the pricing process Cultivate collaborative relationships with various departments, including Contracts, Business Development, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, Accounting, and FP& A Support ad hoc requests related to programmatic matters as needed Assist in the setup of projects, billing, and preparation of project forecasts, including Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) and Estimate-To-Complete (ETC) analyses Actively participate in the annual operating plan, indirect rate analysis, and government contracting compliance Utilize your skills in Business Systems, Confluence, CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques to streamline and improve financial processes and reporting Perform accounting functions, auditing, budget processes, and capital management tasks to support the financial health of the organization. Requirements Must hold a title of Sr. Financial Analyst or equivalent Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field Proficiency in business systems Experience with Confluence is essential Knowledge and experience in CRM systems Ability to generate and analyze Crystal Reports Familiar with Data Mining Techniques Must have experience with the software 'About Time' Strong understanding of accounting functions Experience in auditing is required Familiarity with budget processes is necessary Knowledge in capital management is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
