Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The Networked Information Solutions (NIS) Division of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Staff Logistics Management Analyst based out of San Diego, CA.Job Description:As the Staff Logistics Management Analyst, you will be the Point-of-Contact (POC) for all program technical help needs including ILSP and sparing for all Task Orders. In addition, you will also be the POC for DPAS inputs (Defense Property Accountability System), data-keeping and all other needs required. Roles and responsibilities include:
Offer technical support across the program and integrate technical knowledge to continuously improve competitive position
Liaison with engineering staff to ensure best practice and share expertise
Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements
Ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives
Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes such as replenishment, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions
Prepare and provide support for internal working group and customer meetings
Other roles assigned
Provide administrative support to monitor core NG database transactions on affected Government Owned Property (equipment and material) that are candidates for mirroring data in the government DPAS database
Maintain matching records in both systems from CONUS and OCONUS storage areas of Ready for Issus (RFI) spares
Research variances and reconcile on a routine basis
Provide summary reports with supporting details for NG peer review, that have been requested by the customer or during routine audits
Coordinate across various NG departments with review by the government customer to design, develop and execute the process to post DPAS transactions using the DPAS Self Service Module (SSM)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with at least 13 years of relevant experience
Practical hands-on experience performing logistics and technical support
Prior technical and inventory management experience
Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Outlook)
Database management experience
Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance, ability to obtain SAP; US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with engineering drawings, technical specifications and schematics
Proficient knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other government property systems
Experience with property accountability on government defense contracts
Familiarity with understanding logistics documentation, e.g. Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP)
Experience working with SAP database
Strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
Excellent analytical ability, researching skills, and capacity for planning ahead
Previous experience supporting a government or DOD customer
Previous experience supporting program proposals and constructing BOE's
Prior experience supporting program property audits
Salary Range: $123,900 - $185,900The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
